Kitchen and Bar - A Dream in Deco

When our client and homeowner purchased an older traditional home set in the exquisite suburbs of Bloomfield Hills, she was looking to create a space for baking, cooking and entertainment, all in an element of glamour and art deco. Working with the builder and construction team, Stalburg Design created new spaces for the kitchen, pantry and scullery, while opening the great room to a new adjacent bar. Two new powder rooms were renovated and new windows and flooring as well. The result is a breathtaking set of spaces with details that provide function and delight.

In the historic neighborhoods of Bloomfield Hills, where auto executives have lived for over a century, we recently renovated this gorgeous masterpiece to accommodate our professional and sophisticated homeowner. With a love for family, serving drinks at the bar, and baking regularly, we re-created and constructed new interior spaces to accommodate a marriage of every day use and upscale entertaining. With custom cabinetry, lighting and furniture, these handcrafted spaces reveal a dream in art deco! We think the result is deserving of a black tie celebration.
