Pool House Luxury

This stunning, expansive outdoor pool area was created for daily family gatherings as well as larger parties and entertainment. Set in Bloomfield Hills, this project was completed in the Fall of 2022. With a growing family on several different sports teams, the yard needed to serve multiple functions. Daytime hangouts for kids, evening events for adults, even lounging and watching football games in the fall; all of these were on the request list as design elements.

The swimming pool has a Sunledge with four large loungers for those who want to sit by the pool but not be in the pool! A large sunken hot tub spills over into the pool at the other end, positioned by thoughtful outdoor seating to allow for conversation between guests. Water bowls at each corner are customized to be fire-lit for evening ambiance.

We designed a large pool cabana complete with motorized screens for evening use. The Cabana has a twin set of custom hanging daybeds as well as formal high tops for bar standing, and sitting at a large outdoor kitchen. With mounted ceiling fans and a large metal and glass chandelier, this space easily transitions from day tonight.

One interesting design feature is the use of custom large scale umbrellas with in-ground mounting systems. These dual shade umbrellas extend 15 feet across yet can easily be removed and stored in winter time.

From the large outdoor sectionals, the cozy covered rattan daybed, and the sport court beyond, this outdoor pool area has it all!
